“HOUSE OF THE TEACHER”
MARIA
GOMES is a small village, about 10 kms from the town Pampilhosa da
Serra, by the road EN351 and about 1 km of EN 344, one of the main roads of
this zone.
By
last road you can go to Álvaro, where you can find a natural swimming pool or
you can have boat rides on the calm waters of river Zêzere. You can also fish
and to sail.
The
“HOUSE OF THE TEACHER” usufructs a privileged localization, therefore it
is in the beginning of the village, together to the main road and few minutes

where it will be able to practise a variety of nautical sports.

Village of Maria Gomes not only invites it you to visit, installing yourself
in the House of the Teacher, being able to enjoy of the typical lodging, but
also of the landscapes, pure air, of the calmness, joining the contact between
the man and the nature, the culture and the quotidian life of the agricultural
world.

the country perfumes mix and bird songs give to visitors the sensation if
being in a genuine oasis.

house was built of schist; its ancient ant traditional appearance is combined
with a high level of comfort.
